We collect information you give us when you create an account and use the platform. This includes your name and email address, the child profile information you enter (such as age, communication level, motivators, and behaviors), behavior and journal logs, and the chat messages you send to the AI companion.
2. How We Use It
We use this information solely to provide and personalize the service — to remember your child's context across conversations, to make guidance more relevant, and to surface the resources most likely to help. We do not use your information for advertising.
3. How We Store It
Your data is stored in a secure Supabase-hosted database with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized systems and personnel only.
4. What We Do Not Do
We will never sell your personal information. We will never share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. We will not share information about you or your child with other parties without your consent, except where required by law.
5. Your Rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Email us at bella@behaviorspeaks.app and we will help. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information from our active systems.
6. Children's Privacy
Behavior Speaks is designed for caregivers. We collect information about children only as it is provided by their caregivers — we do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Caregivers are responsible for the information they choose to share about the children in their care.
