By accessing or using Behavior Speaks you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
Behavior Speaks is an educational AI-powered caregiver support tool. It offers informational guidance, behavior tracking, printable resources, and a chat companion built on principles of applied behavior analysis. It is intended to support caregivers — not to replace professional services.
3. Not a Medical or Clinical Service
Behavior Speaks does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a clinical service. Nothing on this platform should be used as a substitute for advice from a physician, BCBA, therapist, or other licensed professional. If your child requires clinical intervention, please seek services from a qualified professional.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and child profile, to use the platform appropriately and respectfully, and to never rely on Behavior Speaks for emergency situations. If you or your child are in immediate danger, please call 911. For mental health crises, contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
5. Account
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, including any data about the child or children in your care.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, software, design, printables, and AI-generated materials provided through Behavior Speaks belong to Behavior Speaks or its licensors. You may use the materials for personal, non-commercial caregiving purposes. You may not redistribute, resell, or repackage them without permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
Behavior Speaks, its founders, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any decisions made based on information provided through this platform. Use of the platform is at your own discretion. The guidance provided is educational and informational only.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and, when changes are material, notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
